I am Ellen Rennell and I have been working with the incredible movement of Unity in Motion for over 30 years. I began working with Unity in Motion after receiving a BA in Dance from UC Santa Barbara. In my twenties I was already experiencing bursitis in my shoulders and pain in my knees and lower back and I wanted to find a way to have more freedom of movement without the pain! I found it in Unity in Motion! I learned how to release the holding of my joints when I moved. I also began to release my linear mind so that I could begin to experience this release as personal growth. I began to understand how to use the right and left side of my body as one, integrating and creating a greater understanding of my balanced self. Unity in Motion taught me how to suspend through gravity, from the top of the head, through my torso, and opened the joints of my arms, shoulders and hips, allowing energy to pass easily through open energy chakra centers. Being able to breath through my spine without stress or strain, and how to breath through my entire body! I felt like a growing and releasing organism, the teaching has truly changed my life! I began teaching private and group classes 20 years ago and have taught in earnest during Covid years. I now teach private students on Zoom and in person, and teach at Senior Care Facilities in the Los Angeles area. The Balance work I have learned through the teaching of Unity in Motion opened my eyes to what was possible for greater understanding of my Body, Mind, and Spirit. The Body, Mind and Emotions all release together and grow together through the understanding of Universal Three-dimensional Balance.
